Q01When are Kerala Lottery results published?
Kerala State Lottery draws are held daily at 3:00 PM IST. Results are officially published in the Kerala Government Gazette around 4:00–5:00 PM. KeralaWins publishes results as soon as they are available from official sources.
Q02Which lottery is drawn on which day?
Kerala runs a daily lottery schedule: Sunday — Bhagyathara, Monday — Sthree Sakthi, Tuesday — Dhanalekshmi, Wednesday — Karunya Plus, Thursday — Suvarna Keralam, Friday — Karunya, Saturday — Samrudhi. Bumper lotteries are drawn on special dates announced separately.
Q03How do I check if my ticket has won?
Use the Ticket Checker on the KeralaWins homepage: enter your ticket series (e.g. KN) and number (e.g. 123456), select the draw date, and tap Check. The checker compares your number against all prize tiers in the result. For large prizes, always verify independently through official Kerala Government sources.
Q04Are the results on KeralaWins accurate?
We source results directly from official Kerala State Lottery PDFs published by the Government of Kerala. Results are carefully processed and cross-checked. However, errors can occasionally occur during data entry. Always verify your winning ticket through the official Kerala State Lottery website (keralalotteries.com) or the printed gazette before making any financial decisions or visiting a prize claim office.
Q05How long do I have to claim my prize?
All Kerala lottery prizes must be claimed within 30 days of the draw date. Tickets presented after 30 days are not eligible for prize payment under any circumstances. If the 30th day falls on a public holiday, you may claim on the next working day.
Q06Where do I claim a prize above ₹1 Lakh?
Prizes above ₹1 Lakh must be claimed at the State Lottery Office: Directorate of Kerala State Lotteries, Vikas Bhavan, Thiruvananthapuram – 695 033. Prizes are paid via bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS) after 30% TDS deduction. Bring your original ticket, Aadhaar card, PAN card, and bank account details.
Q07Is tax deducted on lottery prizes?
Yes. Under Section 194B of the Income Tax Act, 30% TDS is deducted on prizes above ₹10,000. If you do not provide a PAN card, TDS is deducted at 34.608%. A TDS certificate (Form 16A) is issued after deduction. Prizes up to ₹10,000 are paid in full without any deduction.
Q08Is KeralaWins an official government website?
